The Cathedral of Santa Maria,<\/strong> built on top of an old mosque, is one of the clearest symbols of this cultural mix. Around it, aristocratic family palaces recall Ciutadella\u2019s political and economic importance over the centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
